OSHA requires monthly and yearly backup battery tests of the Emergency Light. The backup battery is easily replaceable, as are the lamps when broken or burnt out.
Expected lifespan for all components is 8 to 10 years, except for the battery, which is 5 years.

The Emergency Light can be mounted on walls or ceilings of nonflammable indoor and wet location surfaces. To connect to AC power, use the black (120v) and white (common) wires for 120v AC power or the red (277v) and white (common) wires for 277v AC power.
