Overview
Our compact emergency light features frontal lamp heads that can also be ordered in a side mount variation. This allows the C-EL to be used as a ceiling or wall-mounted fixture.
The C-EL is one of the most compact 20-gauge steel units we carry, and can fit easily into tight spaces that other industrial fixtures cannot. They are also a favorite fixture in cities with strict lighting laws such as Chicago and New York City.

Application
This emergency lighting fixture is designed for interior use and can be mounted to the ceiling or wall. A universal mounting pattern and key hole slots on the back allow for mounting to most standard electrical junction boxes.
External Specifications
The compact emergency light has a 20-gauge steel housing, powder coated with standard white finish. The front mounted lamps are made of durable thermoplastic and are square in shape, though round lamps are available.
Internal Specification
Within the steel housing is the circuit board, transformer and battery backup system. The battery is a 6-volt 4.5-watt sealed lead acid cell which will provide you with a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination.

Self-Test - self diagnostic eliminates the need for manual monthly/yearly maintenance. An alarm will tell you if any component loses functionality.
Time-Delay - ideal for companies using fluorescent and HID lights in their general lighting. This option will keep the emergency light on for an additional 15 minutes after power is restored, allowing HID lights to reach their full intensity.
Nickel Cadmium Battery - NiCad battery backups weigh less and are safer than sealed lead acid cells. They last 5-7 years and are easier to replace.
Housing Color - black or gray custom finishes available.
Side-Mounted Lamps - make sure to specify.
Round Lamps - can be chosen in place of square lights.
Metal Lamp Heads - can be selected in place of thermoplastic heads.
