Our robust emergency light with 25 watt lamps is the best industrial, heavy duty emergency lighting fixture for industrial and commercial facilities. If you need a strong beam of light but don't quite need the coverage of our high-voltage industrial luminaries, the EL-25W is your solution.
If you work in a factory, warehouse, school or work in Chicago or New York City, this is probably the only model you will ever need.
These steel emergency lights can go just about anywhere indoors. They easily attach to any wall surface via universal mounting patterns and key hole slots on the rear of the unit.
They can also be powered by NPS conduits that feed through knockout slots on the sides.
The standard color of the EL-25W is white, though other colors may be custom ordered. The 20-gauge steel housing is powder coated for maximum protection against rust and corrosion. The 25-watt halogen lamps are PAR-36 style, unidirectional and built with high-impact thermoplastic.
Two 25-watt halogen bulbs are included with the unit and will produce more than 350 lumens. Other bulb wattages can be exchanged by swapping out the battery and circuitry. Circuit board is quickly accessed via a hinged steel access panel.
When a break in AC power is detected, emergency power is supplied to the unit by a 6-volt, 72-watt sealed lead acid (SLA) battery. It fully charges in less than 24 hours and can operate in temperatures as high as 122°F.
Parts: 8-10 years
Replaceable SLA battery: 3-5 years
Self-Test - self diagnostic eliminates the need for manual monthly/yearly maintenance. An alarm will tell you if any component loses functionality.
Time-Delay - ideal for companies using fluorescent and HID lights in their general lighting. This option will keep the emergency light on for an additional 15 minutes after power is restored, allowing HID lights to reach their full intensity.
Nickel Cadmium Battery - NiCad battery backups weigh less and are safer than sealed lead acid cells. They last 5-7 years and are easier to replace.
