Our all-weather industrial emergency light is a NEMA 4X-rated luminary, tested for the toughest environments on Earth. They are built with the most durable and corrosive resistant materials and will provide a huge amount of illumination outdoors.
Industrial emergency lighting fixtures are completely sealed to lock out moisture and water. These are the preferred luminary for industry and shipping along the east coast that are plagued with hurricanes, blizzards and torrential rain.
The INDUSTRIAL-EL, as the name implies, is ideal for rugged industrial work. They can be attached to a junction box or wall surface outdoors or inside wash down areas directly exposed to sprinklers. The fiberglass cabinet is strong enough to withstand a degree of abuse most emergency lights cannot.
Great for power plants, manufacturing plants, warehouses and shipyards.
The solid fiberglass cabinet has a clear epoxy coating which fully locks out any micro pores in the already corrosion-resistant material, ensuring this unit will never rust even when directly exposed to salty ocean air.
The powerful halogen lamps are impact-resistant thermoplastic with a polycarbonate lens, fully protecting the bulbs within.
A front-facing hinged fiberglass access panel allows for easy maintenance and cleaning of the circuit board, transformer and battery backup within. The panel and all possible openings in the unit are fully sealed with rubber gaskets to meet their NEMA 4X rating.
When AC electricity goes down, the INDUSTRIAL-EL relies on a 12-volt, 27-watt sealed lead calcium battery that provide a minimum of 90 minutes emergency runtime
Five-year warranty on parts
Three-year prorated warranty on battery
Parts: 8-10 years
Replaceable battery: 3-5 years
Self-Test - self diagnostic eliminates the need for manual monthly/yearly maintenance. An alarm will tell you if any component loses functionality.
Time-Delay - ideal for companies using fluorescent and HID lights in their general lighting. This option will keep the emergency light on for an additional 15 minutes after power is restored, allowing HID lights to reach their full intensity.
Nickel Cadmium Battery - NiCad battery backups weigh less and are safer than sealed lead acid and cadmium cells. They last 5-7 years and are easier to replace.
Side-Mounted Lamps - make sure to specify.
Voltmeter - visual display of the voltage condition/battery level.
Anmeter - provides a visual display of the power being consumed by the light.
Cord Set - eliminates the need to wire expensive conduits and j-boxes, so long as a 120v AC outlet is close to the luminary.
Battery Heater - for environments that drop below 32° F, this heater encases the battery and prevents it from becoming damaged or ruptured by freezing temperatures as low as -20° F.
