Our red photo luminescent exit signs are a common exit sign alternative for many building managers on the East Coast and the Midwest. The PL-EX-R has glow in the dark font that reads 'exit' and is set against a red background.
Unlike self luminous exit signs, the photoluminescent exit sign does not use radioactive tritium and does not require electricity like LED signs. Our PL-EX-R is a long-lasting and durable non-powered exit sign solution.

Application
Red photoluminescent exit signs are used extensively in older New York City and Chicago buildings where AC power is unavailable. The PL-EX-R can be mounted directly to most any wall surface or you can order an optional frame in various finishes to outline the sign.
External Specifications
The PL-EX-R is an 8.5" x 15" PVC panel viewable up to 50 feet away. When normal AC power is on, the sign will collect ambient light and fully charges in just an hour with only 5 foot candles of ambient light.
