Our ever-popular edge lit exit series, which combine architectural style with a fully-compliant exit sign, are now available with ADA-approved legends. Our wheelchair edge lit exit sign will distinguish normal exits from those that are wheelchair accessible.
This is an important part of any facility, since some exits require the use of stairs to reach a safe egress point. During an emergency power failure, when hundreds of building occupants are fleeing, those with disabilities could become stuck.

The wheelchair edge lit exit sign has a clear acrylic 'exit' panel, offering a clean look that does not block the architecture of your up-scale office, hotel or loft apartment.
External Specifications
The EX-EDGE-WC has a wedge shaped transparent injection molded acrylic frame that hangs from an aluminum housing with an unpainted, brushed aluminum finish. Other finishes may be custom ordered to fit your location's needs.
A red push-to-test button on the side of the housing allows you to test the emergency battery, LEDs and transfer circuitry in a pinch.
Internal Specifications
The LED lamp, backup battery and circuitry are all contained within the aluminum housing. A solid-state charger regulates voltage and automatically detects temperature and environmental shifts, adapting the rate of charge accordingly. This allows the battery to work at peak efficiency during it's 10-15 year lifespan.
