Application
Our ELI-1050 connects to nearly every type of remote head including LED exit signs, electronic ballasts, dimming devices and emergency sensors. They can accommodate fluorescent, CFL, incandescent, quartz, LED and other lamps.
Instead of conducting monthly and yearly light tests on each fixture, you only need to check the inverter once a year. The 1050W emergency lighting inverter has a fully automated diagnostic computer which does most of the work for you.
External Specifications
The unit's modular housing is constructed of die-cast aluminum and has a powder coated grey finish, protecting it from corrosion. The ELI-1050 looks like a common household fuse box and can install into any electrical closet without using too much space.
These units are heavy, so they cannot connect to a junction box. However, a universal keyhole pattern on the rear allows for easy installation to most non-flammable wall surfaces. A 1/2" knockout conduit on the back allows cables to run to your emergency fixtures.
Internal Specification
When AC building power is on, this emergency light inverter will continually trickle charge multiple lead calcium (AGM) batteries. The second a power failure occurs the unit will detect the break and switch to battery power.
A Smart Battery Monitoring system maintains nominal battery temperatures. A microprocessor regulates the recharging process and will prevent overloads to the remote heads.
