Overview

Our heavy-duty 2000 watt emergency lighting inverter supplies more juice than any of our other inverters. A single unit on the floor of a high-rise office building links all the emergency lights to a single power source. The ELI-2000 is also ideal if you have multiple fixtures with a heavy electrical load requirement, or if you want your normal emergency luminaries to last up to 24 hours!

Investing in emergency lighting inverters will eliminate the need for individual light batteries. The ELI-2000 provides "full light" to all connected units in less than a second after a power failure occurs.

Not sure if buying a high-powered inverter is overkill? Email the emergency lighting pros right now! If you need a faster reply, call us toll-free at 800-607-5355.

Features

  • 'Watchdog software'-fully automated diagnostic and monitoring
  • Display and alarm alerts you to any malfunctioning heads
  • Full light output for all connected fixtures
  • Approved by Chicago and NYC building codes
  • Buy America-approved
  • Maintenance-free

Application

Our ELI-2000 can power every type of remote-capable unit including LED exit signs, electronic ballasts, dimming devices and emergency sensors. They easily accommodate fluorescent, CFL, incandescent, quartz, LED and other lamps.

Instead of time-consuming monthly and yearly light tests for every single fixture, you only need to check the ELI-2000 once a year. The 2000W emergency lighting inverter features an automated diagnostic computer which does it's own preventative maintenance.

External Specifications

The unit's modular die-cast aluminum housing is powder coated with an industrial grey finish that protects it from corrosion. Our ELI-2000 looks like a similar to a household fuse box and can install into any electrical closet without using too much space.

These units are quite heavy, so do not connect them to a junction box. Use the universal keyhole pattern on the rear housing to mount the unit cabinet to any non-flammable wall surface. A 1/2" knockout conduit on the back allows cables to run to your emergency fixtures.

Internal Specification

When AC building power is on, the emergency light inverter will continually trickle charge multiple lead calcium (AGM) batteries. The instant a power failure is detected, the unit will switch over to reserve power.

The Smart Battery Monitoring system maintains nominal battery temperatures. A microprocessor regulates the recharging process, preventing any overloads from reaching the remote heads.
