Overview
Our EXPF-C1D1 is designed for the roughest industrial locations with a Class 1 Division 1 OSHA rating. These 'hazardous locations' produce explosive gas or vapors and require emergency lighting fixtures that will not spark an explosion due to unprotected circuitry.
The Class 1 Division 1 explosionproof emergency light produces sufficient illumination over a large industrial space. The EXPF-C1D1 complies with all codes pertaining to hazardous locations and are built to withstand more heat than any of our electronic emergency lights.

Application
Our Class 1 Division 1 explosionproof emergency lights are suitable for any hazardous industrial location, specifically the most volatile C1 D1 environments. These locations include petroleum refineries, munitions depots and aircraft fueling stations.
External Specifications
The housing, mounting adapter and globe guard of our EXPF-C1D1 are made of copper-free (<0.4%) die cast aluminum that is nearly as strong as steel. These parts are coated with a powder polyester finish. All fastening hardware is stainless steel and a thick shatterproof glass globe protects the halogen lamp within.
Internal Specification
The compact EXPF-C1D1 can accommodate most medium base halogen (featured), incandescent and twin-fluorescent lamps. All gaps in the housing and globe are hermetically sealed by a rubber O-ring gasket which will prevent explosive gases from reaching the internal circuitry and lamps.
