Our compact exit sign is a wise choice for your mid-to-upscale retail, restaurant, office or kitchen . They are light as a feather and weigh only 8 pounds. This affords you a lower shipping cost, which is especially helpful when placing bulk orders.
External Specifications
Out of the package, the C-EX will be a single-faced sign. A second faceplate with the words 'exit' is included and can easily be swapped without tools. As a double-sided exit sign, it is now perfect for T-junctions where occupants can enjoy both sides of this futuristic sign.
The housing is injection-molded, flame-resistant thermoplastic, which can be attached using a ceiling or wall bracket; both are included.
Internal Specification
The internal components of the compact exit sign are easily accessed by popping off the plastic faceplate. An LED strip illuminates the 'exit' face and is wired to the 6-volt nickel cadmium battery backup via the circuit board and transformer.
During normal hours the C-EX draws power from the building's AC current. The board will detect a break in power and will automatically switch to the NiCad backup cells.
