When you purchase an exit sign combo unit for your business, you are effectively filling two requirements with one affordable unit. Emergency lights and exit signs are required by federal, state and local ordinances to be installed in all public buildings in North America.
Exit signs will continue to glow after a power outage occurs, clearly marking safe egress doors in the facility. Emergency lights provide a path of illumination leading to these exits. As you can imagine, both luminaries tend to overlap each other, making a combo sign the most sensible choice.

Application
The exit sign emergency light combo can be surface mounted on any non-flammable wall or ceiling. They can be used in moderately damp locations, making them a favorite fixture in bars, restaurants and kitchens. Their white plastic construction fits well with most commercial offices.
Additionally, you'll see continued savings after you install combo luminaries in your building; you will only need a single electrical conduit and periodic maintenance need only be performed on a single unit rather than two.
External Specifications
The XC series fixtures are made with ABS thermoplastic with a standard white finish. Units are also available in black, just be sure to specify when placing your order.
Internal Specifications
Inside the exit sign housing lies the internal circuitry, battery backup and LED (Light Emitting Diode) light strip that powers the exit lettering.
Lamp Specifications
Dual high-output LED flood lamps are side-mounted to the sign and can rotate in a a complete 360° turn for infinite configurations.
Electrical Specifications
- 120/277v AC dual-voltage operation is standard.
- Other voltages available upon request such as 220v and 240v.
- AC lockout prevents battery pack discharge.
- Low voltage battery disconnect protects the battery pack form being damaged by long discharge periods.
Battery Backup
Exit sign combo units use a sealed lead acid battery which typically lasts 3-5 years with proper maintenance.

Five-year warranty on parts, five-year prorated warranty on battery.
Lifespan
8-10 year expected lifespan on all components except replaceable battery (five-year lifespan).
Options
Red or Green Lettering - Red LEDs use 4 watts while green LEDs use only 2. Make sure to specify.
Single or Double-Face - Select one-sided or double-sided exit sign faces
Chevron & Pendant Kit - Standard with all signs, allows you to place directional arrow markers to fit any configuration, clearly pointing out the nearest exit point.
