Application
Our low profile exit sign is a great choice if you are trying to bring your retail, restaurant or office up to code without sacrificing a certain pinache. They are very light, weighing in at only 8 pounds. This means shipping costs won't be too high and mounting is a breeze.
External Specifications
Out of the box the LP-EX will only be single-sided, however, you can fit a second faceplate on the back and voila! It's now a double-sided exit sign perfect for T-junctions where occupants can enjoy both sides of this sexy sign.
Housing is fire-resistant thermoplastic and can be fitted with a ceiling or wall bracket, both of which are included.
Internal Specification
The inside of the low profile exit sign is easily accessed by popping off the faceplate. An led strip lights the face and is connected to the 6-volt nickel cadmium battery backup by a circuit board and transformer.
During normal hours the sign is lit by the building's AC current. The board detects a break in power and automatically switches to the NiCad backup.
