When other emergency lights would ignite, the Explosion Proof Emergency Light remains fully functional.
The Explosion Proof Emergency Light is available with one or two 25-watt High Intensity (HIT) lamps. 9-watt and 18-watt HIT lamps are also available. A 6-volt 36-watt capacity battery comes standard on one lamp fixtures and a 50-watt capacity battery powers double lamp fixtures.

A 6-volt 25-watt High Intensity Tungsten (HIT) lamp ensure consistently bright illumination for 90 minutes and is powered by a 6-volt 50-watt battery pack. The Explosion Proof Emergency Light is housed in a copper-free cast aluminum material that is swivel-mounted and durable. The Pyrex lens can be outfitted with optional guards or reflectors for increased protection.
The standard 25-watt lamp can be replaced with a 12-watt or 18-watt HIT lamp to push the emergency run time past 90 minutes.
A 6-volt 50-watt maintenance-free Nickel Cadmium battery power the fixture and lasts between 5 and 7 years.
A time-delay feature is available, which keeps the emergency light running for an additional 15 minutes after power is restored. This feature allows fluorescent and HID lamps to warm up and return to normal illumination levels.
