The Heavy Duty Wet Location Emergency Light is a durable, weatherproof, and waterproof fixture that is designed to provide illumination when barraged with moisture that would cause other lights to fail. The housing is made from fully gasketed fiberglass that keeps internal components completely dry. When equipped with an optional heater, this fixture will remain operational at temperatures below 32º F.
The internally housed battery constantly charges the unit to ensure a full 90 minutes of illumination is provided by the two top-mounted 7.2-watt sealed beam incandescent lamp heads when AC power is lost. This fixture uses 120V or 277V AC to power the lamp heads and to charge the battery. It is also UL 924 listed for use in the United States.
The Heavy Duty Wet Location Emergency Light is designed for use in locations that may contain moisture or rain. This fixture can be back mounted to most nonflammable surfaces. For use in freezing temperatures, an internal heater should be added to keep components functional.
This fixture operates on a dual-voltage 120V or 277V AC connection. It is possible to custom order a 220V and 240V fixture as well.
This fixture is UL 924 listed for use in the United States and Canada. Also UL listed for damp locations, Life Safety 101, NFPA, and CS860.
Five-year parts warranty, five-year prorated battery warranty.
Components are expected to last 8 to 10 years, battery has a five year lifespan.
Internal heater: for freezing temperatures, an internal heater can be added to make sure the fixture is warm enough to work.
The backup battery system protects against low-voltage disconnect and brownouts, while the push button testing system allows for easy maintenance.
The Heavy Duty Wet Location Emergency Light can provide emergency illumination in the face of rain, snow, and sleet.
This fixture is durable and waterproof, designed to repel harsh elements for years to come.
The Heavy Duty Wet Location Emergency Light can be installed on most wet location surfaces that are nonflammable. This fixture can be installed on both indoor and outdoor surfaces that are known to contain moisture. To connect to AC power, use the black (120V) and white (common) wires for 120V AC power or the red (277V) and white (common) wires for 277V AC power.
