The NEMA 4X Industrial Emergency Light features a reinforced fiberglass housing that is intended for use in wet locations. This fixture will stand up to rain and snow, but should not be fully submerged in water. Two top-mounted 8-watt parabolic aluminized reflector (PAR) lights produce bright emergency light, can be adjusted in many to many orientations, and are waterproof. This fixture easily mounts to most nonflammable surfaces.
The NEMA 4X Industrial Emergency Light can be customized in many voltage and wattage configurations. Choosing a higher voltage and wattage means this fixture can provide longer emergency run time as well as higher power lamp heads. All fixtures provide a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination and are UL 924 listed with a five-year warranty.

External
The NEMA 4X Industrial Emergency Light is built to withstand elements like windblown dust, rain, and snow. It is not waterproof because of the side mounted vent that points downward, but it will protect against water originating above the fixture. The durable fiberglass housing also protects against corrosion from ice.
This fixture is remote capable, meaning remote lamp heads can be connected to utilize the NEMA 4X Industrial Emergency Light's battery backup system. Magnum terminal connectors allow large gauge wire to be utilized for a variety of applications
Lamp Specifications
As it configured on this page, the NEMA 4X Industrial Emergency Light comes standard with two PAR36 12-volt 8-watt lamp heads. Please contact us for more information when outfitting this fixture with more powerful lamp heads. Lamps are available in 8, 12, 18, 25, and 30-watts.
The NEMA 4X Industrial Emergency Light comes with two lamp heads but can be customized to come with as few as zero. This is useful to power remote lamp heads.
Battery
The NEMA 4X Industrial Emergency Light comes standard with a 12-volt 36-watt sealed lead calcium battery. Please contact us for more information when outfitting this fixture with a more powerful battery.
The included sealed lead calcium battery provides the NEMA 4X Industrial Emergency Light with at least 90 minutes of emergency illumination after AC power is lost. The battery will automatically charge in 24 hours when connected to AC power. These batteries will remain functional at temperatures up to 122º F. The sealed lead calcium battery lasts 3 to 5 years, while the optional nickel-cadmium battery option lasts 5 to 7 years.

- Self-testing: visually displays integrity of internal components via LED lights.
- Nickel cadmium Battery: these batteries have a 5 to 7 year lifespan, are easy to replace, and are light.
- Time-delay: installations that use fluorescent and high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps can take 15 minutes to reach full intensity after a momentary loss of power. A time delay option keeps emergency lights on while other lights require time to warm up.
- Cord set: allows user to connect fixture to standard 120V AC outlet.
- Voltmeter: visually displays the voltage consumption of the fixture.

- Internal battery heater: allows the fixture to function in freezing temperatures. Must specify 120V or 277V AC connection.
