The PL-EX-RL is a photo luminescent exit sign with red letters and is a common exit solution for many East Coast and Midwest businesses. These exit signs have photoluminescent background with a standard red 'exit' legend.
Unlike nuclear tritium exit signs, our photoluminescent exit signs do not use any radioactive material and require no electricity like LED models. The PL-EX-RL is the longest lasting exit sign we carry - capable of staying compliant for the next 25 years of use!

Application
Our PL-EX-RL photoluminescent exit signs with red letters are a favorite non-electrical exit sign used in New York City and Chicago where signs can only use red fonts. The PL-EX-RL can be installed directly to most wall surfaces or you may purchase an optional frame for a more stylized look.
External Specifications
The exit sign is an 8.5" x 15" PVC panel that can be viewed up to 50 feet away. When AC power is flowing, the sign collects ambient light and will be ready to glow the second general lighting goes down.
