Overview
It's true that most emergency lighting is not very attractive. That's why we developed the recessed remote head. It functions both as a decorative recessed can light and an emergency light. During normal hours they light your high-end interior location like any other fixture would.
However, when building AC power is disrupted and all other lighting blacks out, remote heads will continue to light for the next 90 minutes, providing a safe escape path for your building occupants. They accomplish this by slaving to an external power source, which could be a battery backup inverter or emergency generator.

Application
The R-RH seamlessly blends style with functionality. It does not protrude from your ceiling and has a plastic trim that can be painted to match the color palette of your interior. Recessed remote heads are a dream fixture for many contractors, designers and building managers across the country.
External
The housing is constructed of die-cast aluminum that has a high tolerance to flames, heat and corrosion. The entire housing of the R-RH fits snugly into your drop-down drywall ceiling, and is not painted.
The trim has a white finish but most paints will bond easily to it.
Internal
The halogen lamp is connected to a gimbal which, allowing you to maneuver it in any desired direction. It operates on a universal 120/277VAC from the building and continues to illuminate for the required 90 minute emergency runtime using a remote power source.
