Our steel salida exit signs are becoming more popular as building managers address the ever changing demographics of our evolving US businesses. To reduce workplace confusion in public buildings where occupants speak Spanish as a first language, the EX-S-SALIDA is a robust non-English fixture.
The steel salida exit sign, like our standard steel models, is built to withstand a significant beating and moderate vandalism. That is why EX-S-SALIDAs are a preferred exit sign in embassies and rail platforms in Central and South America.
Salida exit signs can be placed in any high traffic area where a large percentage of occupants speak Spanish as their primary language. The EX-S-SALIDA can be ceiling or edge mounted using a universal canopy or can be mounted directly to a wall or 3" junction box for the strongest protection against impacts.
The EX-S-SALIDA has a 20-gauge steel housing that is powder coated white to provide a clean look and significant protection against damp weather. A push-to-test switch on the side of the exit sign allows for quick maintenance of the sign's emergency readiness.
By removing the faceplate screws you can access the exit sign's inner components including the LED strip, transformer, circuitry and Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) battery.
