The T-Bar Recessed Emergency Light conceals the electronics of the fixture within a suspended ceiling by using a simple and easy to install bar hanger system, allowing only two lamp heads to be seen from below. This emergency lighting fixture is commonly seen in schools, offices, hospitals, and any environment that calls for a streamlined approach to emergency lighting. The T-Bar Recessed Emergency Light can be easily suspended from most ceiling surfaces. Powerful 9 watt halogen lamps come standard to provide 90 minutes of bright emergency light. This fixture can be outfitted with a variety of custom lamp heads.
The T-Bar Recessed Emergency Light comes standard with a durable steel housing in a powder white finish that holds two easily adjustable lamp heads. When this fixture is mounted flush in the ceiling, lamp heads can be adjusted manually to provide emergency illumination over a wide area.

Application
The T-Bar Recessed Emergency Light is designed to be mounted in the suspended ceiling of indoor environments. When properly installed, only the lamp heads are exposed. It uses a bar hanger kit and wall cutting size guide for easy installation.
External
Recessed emergency lights a 20-gauge steel housing that comes standard in white baked powder coat, but is also available in custom colors and finishes. The housing is corrosion resistant and designed to withstand moderate abuse.
Internal
A 120v or 277v AC electrical connection is used to power the fixture while simultaneously charging the battery. Custom voltages are available to suit your specific needs. AC lockout, brownout protection, and low voltage disconnect are standard safety features.
Lamp Specifications
Parabolic aluminized reflector (PAR) halogen lamp heads come standard in 9 watt, but are also available in 12, 18, 25, and 30 wattages. Call us at 800-607-5355 for photometric data.

- Self-testing: visually displays integrity of internal components via LED lights.
- Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cd) Battery: these batteries have a 5 to 7 year lifespan, are easy to replace, and are light.
- Time-delay: installations that use fluorescent and high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps can take 15 minutes to reach full intensity after a momentary loss of power. A time delay option keeps emergency lights on while other lights require time to warm up.
- Voltmeter: this option is only available on steel and wet location fixtures. A voltmeter visually displays the voltage consumption of the fixture.
- Ammeter: this option is only available on steel and wet location fixtures. An ammeter visually displays information on current consumption.
- Custom color: this fixture comes standard in white, but can be customized in a variety of finishes
