Overview
This model of T5HO fluorescent emergency lighting is best suited for those buildings that have centralized emergency backup battery units or generators to provide the facility with illumination following a power failure.
Unlike similar T5-EL models, T5HOs have no emergency ballast or internal battery, which greatly reduces their shipping costs and maintenance requirements.

Application

External
T5HO AC-only emergency lighting fixtures have a hardened transparent polycarbonate lens that is 100% UV stabilized. The lens is sealed with a liquid silicone gasket that keeps moisture away from the internal bulbs and circuitry.
Recessed stainless steel mounting brackets are sturdy yet pliable, allowing them to bend back to their factory configuration if the unit is accidentally hit.

Lamp Specifications
Single or dual T5 fluorescent tubes provide brilliant illumination for 10-12,000 hours.
A parabolic, high-emission metallic reflector distributes the T5 light in a broad, even pattern. A CLE diffuser on the polycarbonate lens UV-corrects the light to reduce yellowish hues generated by T5 tubes.
Options
Pendant Kit - Standard 1/2 inch conduit piping is included with a canopy attachment for high-ceiling installation.
Chain Hang Kit - This option allows you to hang the T5 light rather than a doing a permanent install. A good idea if you ever have to rearrange your lighting.
Tamper Proof - A reinforced lens and hardware makes it very difficult to dismantle without special tools. Great for prisons or institutional facilities.
